VOTING INSTRUCTIONS

On Sunday, February 26, 2012, the 84th Academy Awards (The Hollywood Oscars) will be presented in the glitter of Hollywood.

But…Ashland will be there first!

 

On Saturday, February 25, 2012, The Ashland Firehouse Theater will reopen for our spring series of Firehouse Saturday Evening Movies and to announce the winners of The Ashland Oscars.

We want folks in our community to cast their vote for Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Actress. Results of The Ashland Oscars will be announced at 7:30 PM on February 25 just before the Firehouse Saturday Evening Movie…and a day ahead of Hollywood!

Below are the nominations for the three categories. Decide on the “Best” in each and send us an email (rtphil204@aol.com) with your vote. We realize that you may not have seen all of the films nor all of the individuals nominated. But, based on the films and performances you did see, you will have some opinion. This is not a vote for who Hollywood believes is best, this is a vote for who Ashland knows is best! So…vote!

One vote per person please. We will tally the votes and announce The Ashland Oscars on Saturday, February 25 at the Firehouse Theater… DO NOT DELAY IN CASTING YOUR VOTE!
